Unfortunately I ran out of time to do the full 11 seconds of the voice clip but I have animated 6 seconds of it! I have also added a background to give the scene more depth.

Cartoon Museum Competition

Here is my entry for the Young Cartoonist of the Year Competition  from the Cartoon Museum, London. I have based my image on Kitty the lovable yet mischievous cat!

The image is hand drawn starting with pencil followed by ink and coloured using watercolours. Enjoy!

Finally got my Kitty Stickers completed in time for the Thought Bubble convention this weekend! There was a few minor hiccups but they turned out great in the end!

11 Second Club Rough Storyboard

I have roughly laid out where I want the characters to be and what will be happening, accompanied by camera angles.

The scientist will be zooming around on a segway-device powered by Plutonium!

11 Second Club Sept Competition

The theme for the Sept 11 Second Club competition is a sound clip from Back to the Future but I won't be submitting it due to time.

For my characters I decided to go with a scientist and his assistant duo. I created a contrast between them - the scientist dressed smartly with bowtie with long hair wearing goggles; the younger character being more baggy clothed wearing goggles on his head instead of his face (no concept of safety!)
